Kevin Chiu

Kevin is a first-year Trainee Solicitor focusing on Family matters, as well as Private Client and contentious Trusts & Estates.

Kevin joined Hugill & Ip as an intern then as a Trainee Solicitor in 2023. He is currently assisting the firm’s family team. Prior to joining Hugill & Ip, Kevin has had internships in different environments, including NGOs, MNCs and international law firms.

During his university years, Kevin was very active in participating in different extracurricular activities and taking up various posts of responsibility. He was selected as a Millennium Fellow out of 25,000+ applicants worldwide in the leadership program presented by the United Nations Academic Impact and the Millennium Campus Network.

Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Minor in Japanese Language) from the University of Hong Kong before going on to complete his Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the same university.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys travelling, photography, bowling and cooking.

Kevin is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He has had exposure to Korean and Portuguese. Kevin is currently pursuing further studies in Japanese.
