Phoebe Yeung

Trainee Solicitor

Phoebe is a Trainee Solicitor assisting in a diverse array of legal matters, with a particular focus on Family and Private Client.

Phoebe joined Hugill & Ip first as an intern, then as a Trainee Solicitor in 2026. She is currently assisting in Family law matters.

Before joining Hugill & Ip, Phoebe had internships at various law firms and mini pupillages at chambers, gaining experience in various aspects of civil litigation and private client work.

Phoebe graduated with Double First-class Honours in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA&LLB) from the University of Hong Kong (HKU). She then completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the same university. During her undergraduate studies, she also attended St. Catherine’s College, University of Oxford as a full-year visiting student.

During her university years, Phoebe was passionate about serving her fellow students and participating in law-related activities. She was a founding member and the Internal Chairperson of the HKU BA&LLB Committee, and served as a student advisor. She participated in a number of mooting competitions, and assisted in pro-bono work at the HKU Clinical Legal Education Office.

Outside of work, Phoebe enjoys films, photography, travelling, and trying out new restaurants.

Phoebe is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She also understands basic Spanish.
