Hong Kong Players | Sleeping Beauty – The Panto 1080 1080 Hugill & Ip
Hugill & Ip is proud to sponsor Hong Kong Players‘ 2019 Panto and bringing you this fabulous Christmas show that’s sure to put you in a festive mood!

Hong Kong Players have been staging a traditional Christmas panto for 58 years. The show is an all-singing, all dancing extravaganza based on an original script. It will be staged at Shouson Theatre (Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2 Harbour Road, Wanchai) from 5 to 15 December 2019.

This year’s panto is a spectacular re-imagining of the classical fairy-tale Sleeping Beauty designed to delight all the family with jokes old and… older!

All is not well in the Seven Kingdoms. As King Frump celebrates the birth of his first child, Beauty, the evil Fairy Marla crashes the happy occasion and curses Beauty to sleep for 100 years when she reaches her 18th birthday. But as Beauty’s big day approaches, she finds she has bigger problems to deal with than just her own. Can Beauty, the brave Prince and his Squire, the good Fairy Splenda, and some unlikely allies, overcome all the troubles that face the Kingdom?
