The nominations for the seventh annual Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards have been announced. The awards ceremony will be held virtually on Thursday, 27 May 2021. The virtual event will be hosted to celebrate the process of litigation and disputes resolution in the legal profession.

These awards celebrate the leading litigators and most impactful disputes across Asia-Pacific based upon the information captured in the submission for the latest edition of Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific. The shortlists are the culmination of months’ research, analyzing hundreds of submissions, surveying thousands of referees and interviewing hundreds of lawyers.

All winners will be announced on 27 May online and will have been judged on innovation, complexity and impact. During the ceremony, there will be awards for disputes stars in each jurisdiction, as well as one Asia-Pacific rising star, a female lawyer of the year and international arbitration practitioner of the year. There will also be awards for the most impactful matters of the year.

Hugill & Ip has been shortlisted for the Firm of the Year – Hong Kong award, while Adam Hugill has been shortlisted in the Lawyer of the Year – Hong Kong category.
