Louise focuses on a wide variety of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce proceedings, child custody, care & control and access disputes, issues relating to ancillary relief and financial applications, nuptial agreements, and enforcement actions.

Louise is an Associate in the family team at Hugill & Ip and was admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in October 2025. She has experience in a wide variety of family law matters, including but not limited to divorce proceedings, child custody, care & control and access disputes, issues relating to ancillary relief and financial applications, nuptial agreements, and enforcement actions.

Louise first joined Hugill & Ip as an intern and later as a Trainee Solicitor in 2023. During her traineeship, she completed rotations in several departments, including probate and trust, contentious trusts and estates and family law.

Prior to joining Hugill & Ip, Louise gained valuable experience through internships at local and international law firms, as well as mini-pupillages.

Louise obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Keele University and subsequently completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her dog.

Louise is fluent in English and Cantonese.
